WHAT IS ISO 22716?
The ISO 22716 standard is a guideline for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) that provides instructions, rules, and recommendations for the production of cosmetic products in line with EU Regulation No. 1223/2009.
This regulation came into effect on July 11, 2013, which means that all cosmetic products intended for use in the EU must be manufactured strictly in accordance with GMP. This allows for the control of the production process from start to finish, including raw material manufacturers, finished cosmetic product manufacturers, distributors, importers, and exporters.
The procedure for implementing the ISO 22716 standard includes several stages

Diagnostic assessment of the company, during which our expert visits the company to assess its compliance with ISO 22716.

After the diagnostic assessment, the developer prepares a written report specifying all comments (discrepancies) that may be identified during the company's assessment.
The second stage involves the direct development of the main set of documents. During this stage, the company's management has the opportunity to address all comments identified during the diagnostic assessment, if any.
The final stage is the implementation of the ISO 22716 standard in the company and the training of personnel on the standard and how to use its documents. After developing the system itself, you can also obtain an ISO 22716 certificate for your company.
